Registrations for The Great Canadian Wine Challenge close on September 30th, 2013. Close to that date, we want to officially launch The Challenge with an event that will hopefully attract some media attention. We already had a “soft” launch for The Great Canadian Wine Challenge, we thought something in a wine-related venue would be a pretty neat place to formally launch.
To that end, we are looking for THE perfect launch venue. Here’s what we think we need:

The Drake Devonshire should be opening next spring in Wellington Prince Edward County. It would be a great debut for them as they are within spitting distance of ten wineries and ten minutes from the Closson Road wineries and they have a great wine reputation from their sister hotel The Drake in Toronto for being wine promoters.

Rhea – we would have loved to but we have a limited amount of money our wives will let us spend on this. I think we are both well over those limits already! I do hope to visit one day though!
